TEST REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

​

(Applicants are advised to read the ensuing information prior to starting their registration. The procedures apply to all Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) exams except for the Cambridge English Placement Test (CEPT) and Mock / Practice Tests.

BEFORE TEST REGISTRATION:

3. Note application limits and result timelines​

  • Applications will only be accepted up to the registration closing date or whenever the upper limit is reached, whichever is earlier. Principals Academy reserves the right to reject any late or incomplete applications (i.e. without payment).

  • For A2 Key for Schools and B1 Preliminary for Schools paper-based exams, the candidate's Statement of Results will be available within 4 to 6 weeks.

  • For all digital/computer-based exams, the candidate's Statement of Results will be available within 5 to 10 working days.

  • For both paper-based and digital/computer-based exams, candidates must sit the exams in person at the exam centre on the exam days.

  • C1 Advanced (CAE) - Digital: S$520.00*

  • C2 Proficiency (CPE) - Digital: S$560.00*

  • Cambridge English Placement Test (CEPT) - Digital: S$50.00*

  • Lower Primary English Mock Tests - PB: S$120.00*

  • A2 Authentic Digital Practice Tests - Digital: S$65.00*

  • Upper Primary English Mock Tests - PB: S$140.00*

  • B1 Authentic Digital Practice Tests - Digital: S$75.00*

*Fees are subject to GST and are strictly non-refundable/non-transferable for whatsoever reasons. However, if unforeseen circumstances and/or in the event of an epidemic (such as H1N1, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus MERS-Cov or COVID) cause the test to be cancelled, applicants will be informed as soon as possible, and the test fee will be refunded. Only the third-party fee (10% of test registration fee) will remain non-refundable.

 

('PB' stands for 'Paper-Based' version.)

5. Access and complete the online test registration form

  • To register for the test, please click on the applicable button at the top of this page to access the online application form.

DURING ONLINE REGISTRATION:

​

1. Provide requested details:​

  • Applicant’s particulars

  • Upload the applicant’s original passport

  • Basic academic information

  • Application details (i.e. select test type and date)

  • Contact person’s particulars

  • Mailing address

  • Test fee payment via Debit/Credit Card

​

2. Ensure all submitted information is accurate

  • Applicants must ensure that all information submitted is complete and accurate. No changes will be allowed after submission, including alterations to the test type, test dates, or candidate replacement.​

​

3. Capacity/test times may be adjusted

  • If there are any unforeseen circumstances, Principals Academy Inc. reserves the right to adjust the candidate capacity and/or reschedule the test date and time, if necessary.

​

4. Test materials are confidential

  • All test materials remain the property of Cambridge Assessment English and Principals Academy Inc.. Test papers will not be released to schools or candidates.

​

5. CEQ is certification-only; admission is not guaranteed

  • The Cambridge English Qualifications Test is a certification assessment and not part of a centralised posting process. The results do not guarantee candidates admission to any specific school or institution. â€‹

 

6. No make-up and results for late/absent/withdrawn candidates

  • There will be no make-up or rescheduling of test sessions for withdrawn, late, or absent candidates, regardless of the reason.

  • Candidates who have missed one or more components will not be issued any results.

7. Disclaimer on liability regarding results interpretation

  • Principals Academy Inc. and any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering Cambridge English Exam shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or similar damages arising out of access to, use of, acceptance by, or interpretation of the results by any third party, or any errors or omissions in the content thereof.

8. Whitelist exam centre's contact details

  • To ensure you receive important email correspondence, including test confirmation details, please add our email address, cem@pai.sg, to your contact list. This may help prevent our emails from being marked as Junk/Spam. Additionally, we recommend saving our exam centre contact numbers, +65 63630330 and +65 82008500, in your mobile phone to avoid mistaking our calls for spam.

AFTER  ONLINE REGISTRATION:

​

1. Receive registration acknowledgement email instantly

  • An auto-generated acknowledgment email will be sent to you immediately. Please check your Inbox, as well as your Junk/Spam folders.

  • As long as you have submitted complete and valid information with payment processed successfully, your registration will be deemed successful, unless you are notified of a test cancellation via email or contacted by our staff regarding any issues with your registration.

1-3 WEEKS BEFORE  TEST DAY:

 

1. Receive confirmation emails

  • For paper-based exams, successfully registered applicants will receive confirmation emails approximately 2 to 3 weeks before their test.  

  • For digital exams, successfully registered applicants will receive confirmation emails approximately 1 to 2 weeks before their test.

  • Please refer to the Expected Date of Confirmation Emails.

  • First email (2 attachments): Confirmation of Entry and Timetable and Summary of Regulations for Candidates; AND

  • Second email (2 attachments): Instructions to Candidates and Directional Map to Test Venue. (Note: This does not apply to B2 First for Schools, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency.)​

  • Please check your Inbox, as well as your Junk/Spam folders, for these emails.

​

2. Print Confirmation of Entry and Timetable letter

  • Please remember to print a copy of your Confirmation of Entry and Timetable letter which serves as your exam entry proof on the test days.

​

3. Technical support

  • If you encounter any technical difficulties during registration (e.g., unable to submit payment), please take a screenshot of the error and email it to cem@pai.sg for assistance. Otherwise, your test application may not be processed successfully.

​

REPORTING FOR TEST:

​

1. Report at the indicated Reporting Time

  • Candidates must report on time, according to the indicated Reporting Time (not the test start time). Latecomers will not be allowed to take the test.

​

2. Bring your Confirmation of Entry letter (printed) and Original Passport

  • Candidates must bring a printed copy of the Confirmation of Entry and Timetable letter as their exam entry proof, along with their unexpired Original Passport for identity verification. This is the only accepted form of identification. Photocopied documents are not accepted.

  • If you foresee that the candidate might not be able to produce the original passport on the test days, please inform our team in advance via email to cem@pai.sg for further advice.

3. Exam entry refusal warning

  • The Exam Centre reserves the right to refuse candidates from taking any test components if they fail to present both their Confirmation of Entry and Timetable letter and original passport.

​

POST-TEST INFORMATION:

​

1. Access results via the online Results Portal

  • Your results will not be sent to your email automatically. To access your results, please follow the instructions provided in the 'Results Information' section at the bottom left of the Confirmation of Entry and Timetable letter.​

  • Candidates must register online at the Results Service for Candidates portal to receive an email notification when their results are released.

  • To do so, first register for a new account using your ID Number and Secret Number indicated on the Confirmation of Entry and Timetable letter.

  • Then log in with your ID Number and newly created password.

 

2. Result release cannot be expedited

  • The result release window is fixed for each test session, and results cannot be expedited.

 

3. Certificate collection notice

  • Candidates who score above the minimum threshold will be notified of the Results Certificate collection details via email, approximately 3-4 weeks after their results are available on the online portal.

  • Please check your Inbox, as well as your Junk/Spam folders, for these emails.
