Registration Procedure

Applicants and parents/guardians are to read through the ensuing information prior to submitting the registration.

1. Supporting Documents required for online registration
• Online Application Form – Duly completed and acknowledged
- Applicant’s Particulars as in Passport, i.e. Name, ID number, etc
- Academic Information
- Application Details, i.e. test date
- Contact Person’s Particulars, i.e. Parent/Guardian/Agent, email and mailing address, etc

• Applicant’s digital photograph (preferably passport-sized photograph)
- Photograph must not be more than 6 months’ old
- File size should not exceed 2MB

2. Test Fee (Non-refundable fee for absence/withdrawal from the test/whatever so reasons):
A2 Key for Schools (KETfS) Test: SGD380.00 (subjected to GST)
• B1 Preliminary for Schools (PETfS) Test: SGD420.00 (subjected to GST)

• Cambridge English Placement Test (CEPT): SGD50.00 (subjected to GST)

N.B: There will be no make-up or rescheduling of any test session for absentees.

However, if unforeseen circumstances and/or in the event of an epidemic (such as H1N1, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus MERS-Cov or COVID) causes the test to cancel, all applicants will be informed as soon as possible, and the test fee will be refunded. Only the third-party fee, 10%, will remain non-refundable.


3. Application Submission:
To register for the test, please click on the applicable online application form in the top left section of this page.

Note: Due to the demand and supply constraints for a particular test, Principals Academy reserves the right to make appropriate changes to the capacity of the test date based on the type of test applied.


4. Application form received after the closing registration date will NOT be processed.

5. The applications will be accepted up to the closing registration date or when the upper limit is reached, whichever is earlier.

6. Candidates are to ascertain that the “Test Applying For” and “Date of Test” indicated is correct. No alteration will be entertained after the submission of the application.

7. Strictly no change or replacement of candidate allowed after submission of application.

8. Candidates residing overseas are recommended to provide a local contact address and a contact person in Singapore. This ensures that the candidates are informed of any new updates from time to time. If a local contact address is unavailable, we will accept an oversea mailing address – all courier charges (i.e. mailing of Result Certificate if applicable) will be borne by the candidate. 9. The Confirmation of Entry letter issued by the Principals Academy will serve as the entry proof for the test. For verification purposes, all candidates sitting for the test should have the Confirmation of Entry letter and their original passport on the actual test day. This is the only form of identification that will be accepted. The documents must be valid / not expired at registration and on the test day.

10. The test papers will remain the property of the Principals Academy and will not be released to any schools or candidates.

11. The KETfS or PETfS is a certification test for consideration and not a centralized posting exercise. The results do not guarantee candidates any place in any particular school or other perquisite entity.

12. Other prerequisite entities have the right to conduct their interview or streaming test in addition to the Cambridge English Exam i.e. KETfS or PETfS.

13. Principals Academy reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a scheduled test due to unforeseen circumstances.

Disclaimer: Principals Academy Inc. and any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering Cambridge English Exam shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or similar damages arising out of access to, use of, acceptance by, or interpretation of the results by any third party, or any errors or omissions in the content thereof.
